MY EXPERIENCE IN HELL I was raped by a supposed friend (someone I thought I could trust). Left in shame and shock I could not tell anyone about my ordeal. I kept it to myself and went about my normal life. Some weeks later after I came back from a vigil I started feeling weak so I went to a nearby hospital and ran some tests. HAGERSTOWN, Md. — A pregnant teenager has been prohibited from walking her graduation ceremony due to a violation of her Christian school’s code of conduct, which requires that students refrain from premarital sex. Heritage Academy Principal Dave Hobbs says that he doesn’t believe the situation would be a good example for those in attendance and also doesn’t want to cause further issue for the teen. “To have a girl who’s seven months pregnant walk in a graduation would be easily misunderstood, bringing even more pressure onto Maddi,” he told WHAG-TV in Hagerstown. When students enroll at the academy, they must sign a pledge agreeing to honor Christ with their daily conduct, which includes abstaining from drugs, alcohol, tobacco and premarital sex.
