GOLDEN SECRETS OF MARRIAGE

ELEVEN (11) GOLDEN SECRETS OF MARRIAGE : VITAL THINGS TO KNOW FOR THOSE WHO ARE MARRIED AND THOSE PREPARING TO GET MARRIED SOON 1. EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A WEAKNESS Only God has no weakness. Every rose flower has its own thorn. If you focus too much on your spouse's weakness, you can't get the best out of his/her strength. There are things you just have to ignore because if you want to live everything by the book like you are marking an exam, you will always live in arguments. If you really can't stand out their weakness, wait for a time you are both happy and find a way to being the issue as a discussion without pointing fingers. 2. EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A DARK HISTORY No one is an Angel, therefore, avoid digging one's past. What matters is the present life of your partner. Old things are passed away. try to forgive and forget. The past can't be changed. So Focus on the present and the future! The devil often tries to remind you of their past and mak...

Any of the issues listed here should give cause for concern and care. Unaddressed personal and spiritual issues will affect both partners, even if one is unaware or innocent. While there is little difference between Christian and non-Christian marital woes, a Christ-follower has the power to recognize issues in the light of God’s Word and experience the transforming power of His Spirit. Marital bliss is fictional, but marital happiness can be a reality. Here are 20 reasons why marriages (even Christian marriages) fail... 1. Unforgiving Spirit Learn to extend forgiveness because it’s critical to harmony. Instead of obsessing about how you’ve been wronged, treat your spouse how God treats you. “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. HOME ATTITUDE

Consider this scenario : You were eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocked over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt.  You harshly scolded your daughter for knocking the coffee cup over. She broke down in tears. After scolding her, you turned to your wife and criticized her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table.  A short verbal battle followed. You stormed upstairs and changed your shirt. Back downstairs you found your daughter had been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She eventually missed the school bus.  Your wife must leave immediately for work. You rushed to the car and drove your daughter to school. Because you were late, you drove 80km/hr on a 60km/hr speed limit. After a 15 minute delay and eventually having to pay a traffic fine, you arrived at your daughter's school. Your daughter ran into the school premises without saying good-bye.  You arrived at your office...

SINGLE SAVED AND HAVING SEX!

I know a lot of people find themselves in this cycle, l am saved, love God, have a passion to serve God, might even be in ministry but some how when it comes to sex the cycle just doesn't seem to end. You maybe in a relationship or single but the area of sexual purity is an area were most people in the church struggle with. Week in week out we come to church enjoy the service and even say how powerful the service was but come mid week we back in the cycle of having sex with your boyfriend/ girlfriend or even someone who is neither just seeing each other. Everyday you tormented in your heart because you know that this is not the right way to live and you pray that the situation would change because you know that (Romans 6:1, 2 AMP) says:  What shall we say to all this? Are we to remain in sin in order that God’s grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow? Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?  You know that this is wrong but you j...

Character Building

Character Building "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Now everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall." ( Matthew 7:24-27 ) The above text presents every person in one of two classes: wise or foolish builders. In it, Jesus is encouraging those who had heard His teachings in the Sermon on the Mount to apply them in their lives -- not to be "forgetful hearers" ( Jas. 1:22 ). Each of us is to be involved in that building process by applying the principles of Scripture to our thoughts and conduct, conforming to the will of God in a...
