CASTING OUT devils as EASY as 1, 2, 3! (Michael H Yeager) to

CASTING OUT devils as EASY as 1, 2, 3! (2017) By Michael H Yeager (very informative experience)

For over 40 years I have watched people make it sound like the devil is still in charge. Yet Christ overcame principalities and powers, and made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Even before Jesus was raised from the dead he was casting out devils with his little finger. I am not saying that the devil is not destroying people's lives, I am simply stating the fact that we have given him too much power. Yes, we have allowed him (not God) to wreck havoc in our lives. Jesus declared that we have authority, and power over evil spirits.

There is a story about  E. W. Kenyon and his confrontation with a demonic spirit. One night he was sleeping soundly in his bed upstairs in his house. It is said that he heard the rocking chair in his front room going back and forth. Without any fear in his heart, he got up out of bed, put on his slippers and his robe. He walked out of his bedroom, went down the stairs, and went into the front room. The story goes on to say that there in his rocking chair was a demon. This devil was rocking back and forth in his chair. Supposedly EW Kenyon looked at this devil and said: Oh, It Is Only You! He spun around on his feet, and went back up the stairs, and went back to bed. I cannot say whether or not this story is true, but it is my perspective on the enemy. I have dealt with demonic powers in a very real way for the last four decades. You see I have a Revelation, and this Revelation is this: God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Earlier this year when I was in prayer in the sanctuary of our church, I heard the Lord say to me: Do You Know Why I Heal You Every Time? I said: No Lord! This is what he said to me: It Is Because You're Not Afraid to Die! I knew in my heart what the Lord meant. Many people in the church are controlled by a spirit of fear. The minute they get a pain, a symptom, or hear a demonic voice speak to them, or manifest itself to them they run in stark terror! But, there is no fear in love.

I am talking about our love for God. People are tormented, worried, overwhelmed because they have allowed a spirit of fear to come upon them. If they would truly know the truth, the truth would make them free. To some people see behind every doorknob a devil. I see the other reality! God said: I'll never leave you nor forsake you! He is right there with me wherever I go. If God is for me, then who can be against me? Also, the Bible declares He's given his angels charge over me. His angels are with me wherever I go. So, let's say there are demonic spirits all around me, so what! God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, and the angelic warriors of heaven are with me.

I do not deny that there are demonic powers after me, but I Have Authority in the Name of Jesus! The whole problem is that people do not know their authority, or are not submitted to God! The Bible says: submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you! If I am walking in faith, and I am not involved in willful rebellion or sin, and I am submitted to God, demonic powers must obey me.

Here is a wonderful illustration of something that just happened this spring. I was invited to speak at a church for an evening service. My wife and I were invited to come early that we could eat with them. When we arrived, the food was still being prepared. In the midst of our fellow shipping with other believers, there was a young boy who seemed to be about seven years old. It became obvious that he had a discipline problem. Now, this might make you mad but is not my job to make you glad. Children are a product of their parents. If our children are not disciplined, respectful, happy to some extent, it is our fault! Many times as parents we unwittingly open the door for devils to torment and destroy our children's lives.

So we all ate together at the church meal. Then the worship service began, then prayer, announcements, and then the offering. When everything was said and done they gave to me the opportunity to minister. I believe that my wife sang a song, moved in the gift of diversity tongues, and I gave the interpretation. Now, I had no idea what was going on in this church. I never asked questions because I want to hear what the Lord is saying. The Lord for some reason took me into the area of dealing with demonic powers.

I began to share biblical truths about our authority and the power we have in Jesus name over sickness, disease and the devil. I shared numerous stories of casting out demons as simple as one, two, three. Please realize that I am bragging on Jesus Christ. Some people call themselves deliverance ministers, I do not. Paul declared he preached the whole counsel of God. This is what I have endeavored to do since I began to preach in 1975.

I am not bragging, I'm just telling you I've been very diligent in my study of the Bible. I use to write sermon outlines, just as a way of meditation. To this date, I have probably written over 7000 sermon outlines on 33 different subjects of the Bible. God has also enabled me to memorize 1000s of scriptures!

As I am finishing up the message of what God has laid upon my heart, Sudden there was a commotion in the back of the sanctuary. I looked back to see what was wrong. Here this young boy was stretched out on his chair. His feet were stretched in front of him, with his back straight like a board. His face was all contorted, and he was swinging his arms and his hands back and forth. He was kind of screaming with his hands balled up in fist. He was beating himself in the belly very hard.

The congregation did not act like this was something unusual. Actually, they were quite aggravated at him. The people around him were telling him very harshly: Stop It Right Now! You see this is a major problem I have seen in the body of Christ. When somebody is being afflicted, tormented, attacked by the enemy instead of people moving in faith and compassion (I'm not talking about pacifying the enemy) they either become fearful or aggravated.

I read a statistic about how people treat other people with bitterness and aggravation who have certain afflictions. For instance, you will discover that there are those who seem to have a loss of hearing. Instead of having compassion for that person, many people will be aggravated with them. Instead of being kind, gentle, and understanding with the person who is hard of hearing, they will yell at them, and treat them as if they are purposely trying to cause this problem.

I have also seen this when people begin to get Alzheimer's disease or a loss of memory. Instead of speaking life over them and being kind and gentle they will actually begin to move in bitterness and hate. Oh, precious Jesus help us to repent, and to begin to move in love and faith.

So here is this young boy who was being tormented by devils. The people around him are extremely aggravated. You see this is all happening while I am preaching. Now, you need to understand this boy was not demon possessed. Many do not understand that devils, unclean spirits will come and go. For some reason, there had been a door opened in this young boy's life where devils would come to torment him. It could have been a movie, a cartoon, abusive words spoken over him, a lack of a father's loving presence.... etc. That opened up the door. As he is going through these tormenting gyrations I said out loud to the congregation: don't worry, this will be okay. I said to the church members this will be a perfect example of what I've been talking about when it comes to operating in the authority of Christ.

I left the pulpit area, walking back to where this young man was being tormented by an unclean spirit. Pastor Mike, why do you say it was an unclean spirit? Because every demonic power is an unclean spirit! I do not waste my time trying to find out what the name, (I really don't care what the name is) of this evil spirit is. You will discover that almost every time Jesus cast out devils he simply called them unclean spirits. Now you can say: you unclean and tormenting spirit let him go. I do not always use the word come out of him. Why? Because the person you are ministering to will hear this declaration and assume that they have a demon possessing them. In over 90% of the cases, I have discovered they are not possessed but oppressed, depressed, obsessed.

I walked up to this young man and laid my hand on him as he was beating his stomach with all of his might, with a twisted look on his face, with him screaming. I did not yell or scream at the devil. Actually, I think I had a smile on my face. I was not smiling because this young man was tormented, but I knew this devil had to leave. What the devil had meant for evil, God was now going to use for good. I said to the devil who was tormenting this young man: in the name of Jesus I command you to let this young man go! Right Now In Jesus Name!

After I made this statement, I backed away from him. I knew, that I knew, that I knew this devil had to go. I stood about 5 feet away from him just simply waiting for the manifestation of the deliverance.
This is where so many people in the deliverance ministry are being suckered by the devil. They keep going until there is no more distorting, twisting, turning, or contortions. They need to read the Bible.
Mark 9:22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.

Please notice verse 26: And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

When you go to cast a devil or demons out, the person will almost always get worse! People who do not have spiritual discernment will see them get worse, and begin to yell and scream louder: come out In Jesus Name! What they have just unknowingly done is that they have just revealed to the devil that they do not understand or believe they have authority in the name of Jesus.

At that point, the devils will try to drag this two-minute deliverance into endless hours. Then people will ignorantly begin to talk about how powerful this evil spirit was. This poor person who needs to be delivered will possibly be dragged through years of deliverance ministry. If someone would've simply known their authority, someone who was submitted to Christ, someone who had been living a holy life would have dealt with this problem, this person would've been free.

Of course, after you take authority over the devils, the person needs to have their mind renewed for they can operate and walk in the freedom that Christ has given to them. So back to the story. I simply stepped back and waited for the unclean spirit to leave. In less than 30 seconds I saw this young man's countenance change. The torment was gone. Immediately he stopped beating his belly. He sat up straight in his chair and leaned forward seeming to be in a little stupor. Now, this is normal.I walked up to him then, and held him in my arms a little bit, praying softly over him.

After this, I went back up front and basically use this to finish up my message. I kept exhorting them to realize we have authority and power in the name of Jesus. That we do not need to exalt the devil or his manifestations. The stories I'm sharing with you are not exaggerated.

There is Power in the Name of Jesus.

Why did GOD Kill NABAL?

I came across a Story in the Bible in 1Samuel 25. This story cut my attention and leave me wondering, asking myself a question: WHY DID GOD KILLED NABAL?   I decided to take my time to dig deep into this Amazing Story and it is so Awesome what the HolySpirit reveals to me of this story. It is my Prayer that your life will be Transformed as you read this didactic Discoveries about NABAL, ABIGAIL & DAVID. Amen. Two of the Psalms, the fourteenth and fifty-third, begin with the statement, ``The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.'' When we read these words today, we might picture an atheist-someone who has come to believe, perhaps for philosophical or scientific reasons, in the nonexistence of a Supreme Being. However, we have no evidence that there were any atheists living in the time of David, to whom this psalm is attributed. In those days many people believed in a plethora of deities, but few, as far as we know, imagined that there were none at al...

The FALL of GEHAZI

THE FALL OF GEHAZI (GREED)  The Devil held a great anniversary, at which his emissaries were convened to report the results of their several missions. "I let loose the wild beasts of the desert," said one, "on a caravan of Christians; and their bones are now bleaching on the sands." "What of that?" said the Devil, "their souls were all saved." "For ten years, I tried to get a single Christian asleep," said a third; "and I succeeded, and left him so." Then the Devil shouted, and the night stars of hell sang for joy.— Martin Luther I believe this is a great strategy of Satan. Not that he can cause committed, mature Christians to step into some great sin. But that he can wear down our resolve to live for Jesus. He can cause us to take our eyes off Jesus and place them on our circumstances and ourselves, so that we will begin to doubt the grace of God and begin to look for our own definition of blessing, and ...

How Do I Love God More Than My Entertainment? (John Piper)

The base meaning of the word entertainment is “to hold.” It’s a term for maintaining interest. To entertain is to capture and hold one’s attention. And we naturally find the passive watching of television more appealing than labor. Entertainment holds us. But the on-demand access we have for a lifetime of captivating entertainment literally at our fingertips also raises really important questions about what is it that most holds my attention. Does God have any chance at competing for my attention with the allure of Hollywood? Thus, this question from a listener named Craig. “Dear Pastor John, hello! I know that I have begged for Christ to receive my heart and life. My repentance is sincere. I have stopped my willful sinning, and I am doing everything I can to live a holy life. My question is about my desire and satisfaction in spiritual discipline and worship. I prefer entertainment to time with God. That’s the honest truth. Time with God feels like labor. Entertainm...
