YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
(By Ebuka Ezema Uwachi)

'I... am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop.' Psalm 102:7 KJV

Do you feel unqualified for the job God has given you? Do you think He picked the wrong person? Many scriptural heroes felt the same. David, whose psalms encourage millions, 'a man after [God's] own heart,' lamented, 'I ... am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop.' It's hard to imagine a less significant bird, yet Jesus said, 'Not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing' (Matthew 10:29 NLT).

Charles Swindoll writes: 'In our... impersonal world it's easy to underestimate the significance of... one. With so many who seem more capable, gifted, prosperous and important, who am I to think my part amounts to much? Aren't you glad Martin Luther King Jr., Walt Disney, Winston Churchill, Irving Berlin, Abraham Lincoln, Charles Wesley, [and Mother Teresa] didn't think that way?...How many people did it take to help the victim on the Jericho road? How many were chosen to confront Pharaoh and lead the Exodus? How many lost sheep were of concern to the shepherd? How many did God use to prepare the way for the Messiah? Just one!

Centuries ago a woman named Esther thought there was nothing she could do. She was the Jewish wife of a Persian king, who was about to be tricked into making a disastrous decision that would exterminate the Jews... Like everyone who stands in the gap, Esther was willing to get involved to the point of sacrifice, and say, "If I perish, I perish" (Esther 4:16).

Today ask yourself, "What should I be doing?" You can make a difference.'

ALWAYS REFILL 7

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL  DATE: DAY, 17TH AUGUST 2025 TOPIC: ALWAYS REFILL VII MEMORIZE: For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. John 6:55 MESSAGE As I conclude this series, I want you to know that you can also be refilled spiritually through the Holy Communion. In John 6:48-51, Jesus said, “If you eat My flesh, you are eating the bread of life.” In other words, He was saying, “The bread of life is My body.” When you eat the body of Christ, you are eating a body that is full of virtue and the anointing of the Holy Spirit; you are taking all that virtue into yourself. If you take the Holy Communion worthily, there is no way your spiritual battery won’t be recharged. When the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, He said that virtue had gone out of Him (Mark 5:25-34). When you eat the bread, you are eating virtue because it symbolises the body of Christ. The wine of the Holy Communion, which symbolises the blood of Jesus, contains th...

Why did GOD Kill NABAL?

I came across a Story in the Bible in 1Samuel 25. This story cut my attention and leave me wondering, asking myself a question: WHY DID GOD KILLED NABAL?   I decided to take my time to dig deep into this Amazing Story and it is so Awesome what the HolySpirit reveals to me of this story. It is my Prayer that your life will be Transformed as you read this didactic Discoveries about NABAL, ABIGAIL & DAVID. Amen. Two of the Psalms, the fourteenth and fifty-third, begin with the statement, ``The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.'' When we read these words today, we might picture an atheist-someone who has come to believe, perhaps for philosophical or scientific reasons, in the nonexistence of a Supreme Being. However, we have no evidence that there were any atheists living in the time of David, to whom this psalm is attributed. In those days many people believed in a plethora of deities, but few, as far as we know, imagined that there were none at al...

DEAR MEN IN MARRIAGE

Dear Men is Marriage, Never allow your wife to have a house full of choirs carting and  heart bankrupt of the Word of God carting.  Else, you will experience canal workings in her pattern of communication. Later, her in-take to voices.  Disrespect does not happen over night, it is a process of neglecting the Word of God. We remain perfect as we continually reflecting the word of God. Absenteeism of it is a very terrible risk.  Don't cumbared the same with unnecessary things that matters  not else, like Martha, it will be means for excuses and venting frustrations on innocent kind. Titus 2: 5 says that they must be 👇 Be sensible, chaste, restrained (selfcontrol) have concern for the household, be kind, be subordinate to their husbands: so that the Word of God may be not blasphemed. You must help that destiny 👆 to be fulfilled positively else you are building another doctrine.  Aiyenuro Dele Kelvin Author TheCrossBlog
