Mothers: GOD'S SECRET WEAPON

MOTHERS: GOD’S SECRET WEAPON They always behind the stage and all the major responsibilities are upon the mothers. Mother’s  are God’s secret weapon. God also works through the mother. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. The children are fashioned in our hands. When mothers rise, mothers fashion the children and they can be ready for anything. May mothers receive a special grace to become the instrument that they need to be. 1 Samuel 1:10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to GOD, and wept sorely 1 Samuel 1:11 And she vowed a vow and said, O, Lord of Hosts, if You will indeed look upon the affliction of Your handmaid and remember me, and not forget your handmaid, but will give to Your handmaid a man-child, then I will give him to GOD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. Mothers must know how to connect to heaven.  The best partnership is not just between husband and wife. It is the partnership bet...

MY EXPERIENCE IN HELL

MY EXPERIENCE IN HELL I was raped by a supposed friend (someone I thought I could trust). Left in shame and shock I could not tell anyone about my ordeal. I kept it to myself and went about my normal life. Some weeks later after I came back from a vigil I started feeling weak so I went to a nearby hospital and ran some tests. To my greatest Shock I tested positive to pregnancy. I told the man involved who after much plea convinced me to have an abortion which will be kept a secret. I went in for an abortion however before the procedure I asked God to forgive me for what I was about to do and in the process I died, I left my body. Still looking at the lifeless form on the abortion table, I started ascending but in a flash a force pulled me down through a dark tunnel. I could not see the beginning or the end of the walls of the tunnel. It was dark, so dark, I saw cobweb like cells on the walls and in an instant I was in HELL. I saw a woman who had been there for over a hund...

HOW TO RAISE A CHILD IN A CHRISTIAN HOME:10 BIBLICAL IMPORTANT WAY

#GodlyUpBringing  A s a Parent, it is such a blessing to have the opportunity to raise children, in-fact it is a privilege. This is true of both believers in Christ, if you are a person of faith, it is so important to pass on a spiritual heritage that your kids can pass on to their kids. 20 Reasons Marriages Fail (Even Christian Marriages)

Marriage 20 Reasons Marriages Fail (Even Christian Marriages) By: Sue Schlesman .   Marriages fail for many reasons and often from a combination of reasons. Any of the issues listed here should give cause for concern and care. Unaddressed personal and spiritual issues will affect both partners, even if one is unaware or innocent. While there is little difference between Christian and non-Christian marital woes, a Christ-follower has the power to recognize issues in the light of God’s Word and experience the transforming power of His Spirit. Marital bliss is fictional, but marital happiness can be a reality. Here are 20 reasons why marriages (even Christian marriages) fail... 1. Unforgiving Spirit Learn to extend forgiveness because it’s critical to harmony. Instead of obsessing about how you’ve been wronged, treat your spouse how God treats you. “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave ...

A WATER BEARER

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master’s house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily , with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master’s house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. “I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you. “Why?” asked the bearer. “What are you ashamed of?” “I have been able, for these past two years, to ...

You Can Make a Difference (By Ebuka Ezema Uwachi)

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE (By Ebuka Ezema Uwachi) 'I... am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop.' Psalm 102:7 KJV Do you feel unqualified for the job God has given you? Do you think He picked the wrong person? Many scriptural heroes felt the same. David, whose psalms encourage millions, 'a man after [God's] own heart,' lamented, 'I ... am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop.' It's hard to imagine a less significant bird, yet Jesus said, 'Not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing' (Matthew 10:29 NLT). Charles Swindoll writes: 'In our... impersonal world it's easy to underestimate the significance of... one. With so many who seem more capable, gifted, prosperous and important, who am I to think my part amounts to much? Aren't you glad Martin Luther King Jr., Walt Disney, Winston Churchill, Irving Berlin, Abraham Lincoln, Charles Wesley, [and Mother Teresa] didn't think that w...

5 books you should read to know more about the Holy Spirit

The approach to Pentecost is a great time to reflect more on the gift of the Holy Spirit and the role it plays in our individual lives.   The amazing blessing available for every Christian is the gift of the Holy Spirit, but we can sometimes forget He's there, feel confused about His purpose, or limit His power.    It's helpful to look to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ himself, who on the night He was to be executed explained to His disciples that He would send the Advocate to be with them.  He also explained exactly what this Advocate would do to help them. In John 14:16-17 it says,  "And I will ask the Father and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you for ever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.  But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." (NIV) Then in John 14:26, we read: "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in...
